IUS Researchers Present Key Insights on Green Purchase Intentions

On Monday, August 11, 2025, the Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) hosted a presentation of research results for the project titled "Green Purchase Intentions: The role of Theory of Planned Behavior, Environmental Concern, and Demographic Factors. The project, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Hamza Smajić, was carried out together with Associate Professor Dr. Šejma Aydin, PhD student Amila Ahmethodžić, MA student Lamija Tanović, and BA students Hanan Babić and Selma Krivokapa.

The event brought together representatives from academia, students, and business professionals to engage with the findings. The presentation was well received, emphasizing the critical role in understanding the mechanisms behind green purchases.

The project was funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, which has been a long-standing supporter of research initiatives at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). By supporting projects like this, the Ministry continues to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and the development of practical solutions to contemporary challenges, fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
